Carthage Farm Supply, locally owned and operated in Carthage, NC, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate

Summary of Position

• Responsible for assisting customers in the warehouse
• Receive incoming shipments

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Load customers accurately and efficiently
• Prepare orders for deliveries and if necessary, deliver orders using company vehicle
• Receive merchandise/incoming trucks and note any errors
• Safely operate a forklift and skid steer
• Assist with maintaining an organized warehouse
• Stocking of showroom
• Effectively communicate with teammates to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Physical Requirements - Ability to: lift, push, pull 50+ pounds, withstand heat and cold, safely operate forklift, skid steer and company vehicles, tolerate allergens such as hay and dust, stand for up to 8 hours.
• Knowledge of agriculture products a plus.
• Able to work rotating Saturdays.
