Protenza® is a super premium fully-fortified textured feed, formulated with the competition horse in mind. Manufactured with optimum levels of soluble fibers, oils, and the highest quality grains, Protenza provides a 20% boost in calories over conventional sweet feeds. Soluble fiber and oils provide long-lasting, controlled performance in the equine athlete.

Protenza is a highly palatable product ideal for any discipline requiring a feed with a high caloric content, but reduced protein content. Protenza is calorie-dense, but “non-heating” — perfect for horses that are difficult to handle or mentally too “high.”

Protenza is fortified with Stamm 30 (made with BMC™, Buffered Mineral Complex), the industry’s most highly valued equine protein, vitamin and mineral supplement. Stamm 30 supplies high levels of bioavailable microminerals, bioavailable magnesium, a proprietary blend of equine specific yeasts, a natural source of the antioxidant vitamin E and bioavailable selenium.

Feeding Instructions

Protenza is designed to be fed at 6-18 pounds per day depending on the intensity of the work, size and body condition of the horse. When fed as directed, additional protein, vitamin or mineral supplements are unnecessary. Always provide clean, fresh water and high quality hay.
