Heavy yielding variety with and upright growth habit. The plant has broad, wavy and wrinkled bronzed green leaves with contrasting crimson red leaf stalks. Leaves have the earthy taste of a beet green with the salinity of spinach and the red stalks are fibrous, often bitter and succulent.
