Technically this variety is a winter squash. The uniquely shaped bulbous bottom with curved-neck pumpkin averages 2-4 fruits per vine. The flesh is light-yellow, meaty in texture and fibrous with a mild and slightly sweet flavor. Excellent for pumpkin pies and canning.
